A lot of Gathering Glory

Hey everyone

It seems to me I will be busy for the next three weekends going to different gatherings which is awesome. Will it tired me out will have to wait and see. But I think its great because it is summer time and the weather is nice.

On the 27th I will be attending the Nerdfighter Gathering which I mentioned a couple of entries ago. At the London Eye.

On the 4th I will be attending the Indepdence Day Gathering which I mentioned in the last entry. Also at the London Eye.

and now on the 11th of July there is going to be the first ever Portsmouth Gathering which is awesome being hosted by Danny also known as JumpNBounce on Youtube.



Saturday July 11th, 12:00pm(?) @ Gunwharf Quayes shopping precinct, literally just around the corner from Portsmouth Harbour train station. (Got that from Dannys Video Description)

So I am excited about this which is really good.

Also Summer In The City now has a video to promote the event and I have to say I love whats gone behind it. Well done to the organisers for really thinking to make this the best gathering for the summer. I think it will be a winner.

Good news is that UK Youtube has helped out a bit to promote this video which is really good. I know there are going to be more videos to come about the Summer In The City. Like I said before I will wait and see about 24 hours before whether I can come or not. Lets hope it is a yes answer. If I do come It will be on the second day only.

Transformers Revenge Of The Fallen (Review) + 4th Of July Gathering (CONFIRMED)

Hey Guys

I went to see the new Transformers film yesterday and it caught my surprise that the UK was the first countries to get the film. Its a summer blockbuster from America and they don't get it until the 24th of this month which surprises me.

Anyway this is going to be short and sweet. I was expecting a lot from this film. I would say the humour is a lot better in this film but the action at times was a let down. I felt it suffered in the last third of the film. the first two thirds of the film was definitely better than the first film altogether. I wont give anything away apart from Prime suffers a defeat in the middle and Sam + his friends have to find something in the middle east.

I would say it is equal to Transformers, I hope other people may find some value with the film.

Right I mentioned about a gathering that is happening on the 4th of July and now it has been confirmed. Its being organised by RogueBlueJay.

Barry Aldridge Asks (10) - Favourite Doctor Who?

Hey Guys

Barry Aldridge Asks is back again. After doing 4 Face 2 Face Interviews in a row. I decided to bring back my other series. I was thinking about doing a Doctor Who one for a while, but once I got my hands on the Chameleon Circuit CD and listened to Exterminate, Regenerate it made go back and watch all of Doctor Who.

So before the video I watched a few dvds I mentioned in the video starring Patrick Troughton. To me Patrick Troughton is one of the best actors that ever lived. Shame though he passed away in 1987.

Hope you enjoyed it, I feel it is one of the best Barry Aldridge Asks I have ever done.

Keeping up can be tricky & Nerdfighter Gathering

I will say lately I havent been in the right mind to do Blog entries maybe due that Im used to doing blogs that could have a positive outcome and I prefer doing them. I know there are times I will be negative but I keep it at a low so then I dont have to look back and read them.

Anyway in other news I will be attending the Nerdfighter gathering that is happening on the 27th of June 2009 co-hosted by Maureen Johnson and Charlieissocoollike which should be fun. Charlie knows Im coming because I send an e-mail on Monday to say Im coming. Which is cool, I aint been to a gathering since Last September (I swear I have said that before. but never mind).

Barry Aldridge Face 2 Face with CheekTV

Time for another Face 2 Face Interview and todays guest is Cheeky from CheekTV



Now I will say that this interview is completely different from interviews I have done in the past. I first heard of Cheeky/CheekTV a week before the Love Hate Society Gathering and he asked for an interview and then I saw the gathering video he did and I thought it was one of the funniest videos I have ever seen and Cheeky has come out of nowhere which is awesome.

With this interview I knew that Gary (Who controls Cheeky) would come out with a script being cheeky and I couldnt stop laughing. So when it came to the Interview I thought I'll act opposite and be serious until the end of the interview.

I feel proud doing this as I always wanted to do a comedy interview and Cheeky was the right person..... I mean Puppet to do it.

Voluntary work is going well and Im OK. Got other things going on.

The last Face 2 Face Interview with Ivens (Badm4ths/Blogmaths) has received some really great feedback thanks guys.

Good news is that another Face 2 Face is coming over the weekend and its going to be a classic and I think it will be one to be remembered for a long time to come.

Barry Aldridge Face 2 Face With Badm4ths/Blogmaths

Hey Guys

I am here again to give you some Behind The Scenes to this interview with Michael Ivens aka Badm4ths and Blogmaths.

Now Ivens wanted to do an interview after watching my interview with Doctor Noise which was the last one and he liked the format and wondered if he could get an interview.

So I asked for his e-mail on Youtube PM and Facebook messaging and I send him the questions.

I had to send the questions twice, when I looked back after sending it the first time, the questions didnt sound right so I send the questions again and then on the 31st of May he send me as a surprise his answers and I was able to finish the interview.

Now Ivens is a great guy to be around who has a lot of potential and I wish him the best with his production if it goes well.

I really like this interview like my other ones and it has a good pace to it.

A Video worth checking out from CheekTV

Hey guys

Todays entry is going to be really short. Its really awesome video from the gathering that happened last saturday (Love Hate Society Gathering). Its from a user called CheekTV and this is one of the best gathering videos I have ever seen. It was so funny all the way through.



I wish I came to the gathering but because of Money Issues and not being ready to come back to a gathering are my reasons for not coming last Saturday.

If a Face 2 Face Interview happens between CheekTV and myself, I think it would be something special. I know that Cheeky has asked me and I hope this happens.

The Trial (Failed and Staying Strong)

Hey Guys

I thought I'll let you know how I did on the trial if you havent heard at all. Now after 9 days working for them on the final day I got a call from RBLI who helped out a bit saying the bad news that I didnt get the job with Global Digital Broadcast as a web developer, at first I was really sad but I sort of knew at the end that this would happen. Lucky though I had a great time over the two weeks with them. Maybe it wasnt mend to be, maybe god has a better plan for me in the long run.

I got some brilliant experience from working there, I got a colleague's e-mail which is brilliant to ask designing advice which I will ask for one day. I never got to see my main boss on the final day but I think it was for the best. I had no problems with anyone in the company, they were shocked I didnt get the job as they thought I was good person to work with and they found it sad. They wished me nothing but the best and I did the same back.

In the end it was down to experience and timing that costed me from getting the job but I will improve in the future.

When saying goodbye to everyone it felt great I was able to finish what I call a chapter in my life. When I walked through the door to my home yesterday I felt I was a hero.

Today I went back to Brighton for a quick reflection of my time plus something else to do. In a way Im glad I didnt get the job because I would treat Brighton as business rather than pleasure, weird I know. In the end I felt proud of what I had done in the two weeks.

Like I said I think God may have a better stage for me and I would do great in the long run but who knows. I am going to miss working with Global Digital Broadcast, picked up quite a lot and I think the future is going to be great.

like I said on Twitter eariler today - "you win some and lose some, I wished I got the job at GDB but it has made me more determined to get one YES."

Face 2 Face with DoctorNoise

Hey Guys

I forgot to post a blog the other day talking about my Face 2 Face Interview with Bill Martin AKA Doctor Noise.



Bill is one of the nicest guys I have spoke to online. We always have great chats on Skype. We talk about Football/Soccer and other stuff that we like.

He gave me some great advice on how to deal with my old computer even though I havent gotten around to doing it yet.

Originally Bill wanted to do his parts with singing and I would do the same afterwards but time was always a factor and it never happen, oh well cant win them all.

I love the Jump Cut style in the interview that Bill used as so many other youtubers I know use it that include Fallofautumndistro and Vlogbrothers.

I love intro and outro bits that he did for me which was awesome. It was great he gave me help on what questions to ask him which was awesome.

Loved the interview altogether.

Glad I did it with Bill Martin.

Things happening in real life is the reason why this blog was later than expected if you have been reading previous entries and I aint going to explain again.

Dead Space (Awesome)

Hey Guys

Dont Worry Im not taking part in Blog Every Day in May (BEDM), just some quick notes about whats going on?

First Im not going to talk about my Job Trial anymore. Its best to keep private until something happens that is ok to mention.

Second I have played Dead Space yesterday and it is a fantastic game, great graphics and the suspense is awesome, I mean really awesome. Glad I got it so cheap as well.

This game will really get at you hard and make you want to see more it is so good. The voice acting is brilliant, the number of weapons you have is really cool. You have to destroy the aliens differently to other games which makes it original to play.

Third - Tomorrow Im working on next video which is another Face 2 Face Interview and the footage I got for the next interview is solid gold. Cant wait to put it together. It wont be up until Sunday.

Morning Thoughts & Gathering in July.

Hey everyone

Im starting to write more blog entries because I have been feeling really good lately with my life, that I got a trial with Global Digital Broadcast to start really soon and waiting for an e-mail back to when it starts, got a voluntary job with 4sight to help edit radio shows onto CDs and I feel good about some of My youtube videos even though the views on them havent been good lately (That does get me down but I am trying to enjoy in the process).

Yesterday I asked around about Dead Space the computer game which I decided to get. I watched a review and a trailer of the game and it blew me away. Got it cheap and brand new which is the best combo.

Cant wait to get my hands on it looks awesome, It has been out for 6 months now.



People on Facebook have been telling me about the game being so good and the video review I saw on Gamespot, it was an awesome game.

I got the book that my Cousin had written from one of my previous blog entries - The Book I bought that my Cousin is a Ghostwriter. It looks a really great book, Probably take me 30 minutes to read because its a kid book.

Im still nervous about when I will getting my trial for the Global Digital Broadcast as a Web Developer. It was my first job interview ever and shocked me that I got a trial from it which is awesome. Its probably because after all the times I had been looking for work through tough times and after a year of looking I found a something that could be good for me in the long run. I have had enough of doing nothing now and to get out there in the big wide world.

OK onto the final thing which is about gatherings. Now I havent been to one since last September because of money issues which sucked (GOD I have said that at least 20 times and must be getting old for you people). Anyway I know there is a gathering coming up called The Love/Hate Society gathering which sadly I wont go to, I just dont feel like it at the moment but I know my friend Alan is doing another PAW-T event the following week and I enjoyed the last one, at the moment I told Alan Im 50/50 on his second PAW-T but Im most likely to go to that because I am good friends with Alan and I love computer games.

Anyway on the 4th of July there is going to be an Independence Day Gathering at Noon by the London Eye and its hosted by RogueBlueJay off Youtube. I have no idea whats going to happen.

I remember Roguebluejay asking people should be a gathering on the 4th of July and I said YES. I suggested a couple of ideas like the time and meeting place. Alasdir thought they were good ideas. I also mentioned the Museum of Moving Image, which I know is an awesome place to go to.

Face 2 Face with y2kjonrichards

Hey Guys

Now first of all I would like to thank people who left me feedback from yesterdays entry and it was awesome of you guys.

Anyway as promised today is the Face 2 Face and gathering by the title it was with y2kjonrichards.



Jon is one of the nicest guys I have ever met. Someone I believe who could a future within the media which is so awesome. He loves his Apple products. I asked him weeks ago if he wanted to do the interview when he asked if he could have an interview which was awesome.

He was busy for a bit including going on a holiday with his girlfriend Zoe where he did the Proposal video.



Now when it came to that question, Jon suggested to put that in which is great and I felt it was right to add this question because we think that people may want to know how did that go and why he did it?

I asked him about his featured video from last year which was the Macbook Air Unboxed video which I still love to this day.



I asked him about his Band, Guitar Hero or Rock Band?, Indieduction Youtube Channel and World Records and it was a great mix of questions and it was really well constructed.

I enjoyed the interview a lot, it was great fun to do.

The next video will be another Face 2 Face interview and I wont say who it is, keep you surprised like this time.

Its better to keep people surprised on everything.

The Week Of Heaven/Hell & The Future (Jobs and Youtube Videos)

Hey Guys

I had probably the best week I had in a long time. Everything seems to be going right at the moment and seems clicking.

Now I have mentioned on my Twitter and Dailybooth which I am going to use for very important stuff from now on that I had a job interview. Now Im starting to use Twitterfox for some tweets.

Now on the Tuesday after writing my blog about my Cousins book, Sweeney Todd and Facebook.

I went onto the Wired Sussex website to look up for jobs which I have been doing that for the last year and it was start to piss me off because of whats going on with the recession and any other business. So I found a job from a company and they wanted a web developer so as usual I applied for the position, thinking I am going to get turned down again.

By the afternoon I got a phone call from them, telling me that I had Interview and asking me if I could come on the Friday afternoon at 1pm which I said Yes automatically which is awesome. I told the people at RBLI who are helping me find work and they were thrilled which was awesome.

I was able to go out onto the beach with really good thoughts about whats going on in life. I had to stay focus but I was nervous but lucky though I had other things going on.

On Wednesday I went to the Adur Civic Centre for my charity duty for Adur Talking News and it was my first day doing some editing for the show that was recorded the previous night. Now this was really great. Ann and Chris were already there waiting for me to get to it and Penny who I saw at one of the recordings helped me with the editing and we learned a lot from each other that day.

Ann taught me how to zoom in on a part of the broadcast and I was able to teach them how to use Shortcut Keys and that you can use the keyboard to find certain points. I loved that day and enjoyed. Penny was a pleasure to work with. Afterwards I was helping out with the packing like the first time I went there and it was tough part waiting for the CDs to be done and then once done I was able to go off home. I was still nervous about Friday and went back home to look some audio stuff that my mate and I recorded the previous Friday night and some of the audio was impossible to hear and I couldnt put it up as the third episode on my podcast which is a shame. So it was a mixed day on Wednesday.

Now Thursday I had to go to Worthing to the Job Centre to tell them about my interview coming up the next day. My family thought I needed a suit for the occasion next day. I went to a store called Beales and they had a 25% off everything sale which was cool and found the suit I wanted which it is this picture which I showed on Dailybooth and Facebook.

Here it is again.



Anyway by the evening before the interview I was really nervous and needed to keep focus. So It was approaching my first ever Job Interview and I was able to get a good night sleep but I got up too early as usual.

Now around 8am I thought I'll mention the interview for the first time on Dailybooth, Twitter and Facebook and I had people wishing me good luck and saying I was going to be fine.

Now onto the Interview in the afternoon had to wait until half 1 and the Interview turned out to be incredible and one of the best feelings in my life. We chatted about the Job Position which I said I was interested and they offered me a trial which pleased me and Katherine of RBLI which was awesome. While at the Job Interview they explained about their Digital box which proves to be so much better than SKY Digital and Virgin Digital, which impressed Katherine and I. They mentioned some really cool and made me feel that the company are going to be huge one day, I can promise you that.

The rest of the day I spent watching Wrestling DVDs to calm down that I had the best news ever and then I mentioned the news on Twitter, Facebook and Dailybooth that I got the Trial and the Internet community offered me congrats. My family and my mate Arron are happy for me.

Now today I went back to Worthing to see whats out in the shops and nothing much out at the moment. Also later I was recording some parts for my Face 2 Face Interview which goes out tomorrow. I still going to tell you whos next, so you will find out in the next video.

I will say I am impressed with this interview and I loved doing it. I will admit I am upset with the viewing numbers for my latest Barry Aldridge Asks but it did get a good response from people.

Now the next couple of videos will be Face 2 Face being spreaded by a week so there will be one tomorrow and the next one will be the next Sunday.

Helping Out People and Why I cant Delete Facebook

Hey Guys

Now I have been great today that things look right at the moment.

Now I was contacted by my Cousin on Facebook this morning and he has become a ghost writer for a children book series.

I also bought Sweeney Todd on Blu-Ray for 8 pound which is a brilliant price for Blu-Ray plus I wanted to see that film for a while.



It stars Johnny Depp, who is a brillant actor and the fantastic Tim Burton directs the film.

Anyway sorry Im going off topic here.

Now the other day someone told me to delete my Facebook and what I mentioned about my Cousin asking for help is one of the reasons why I cant delete Facebook. I got friends and family on my Facebook who I havent spoken to in a long time and I would and they would like to know how we are doing.

A few months ago when I signed back into Facebook for the second time, I found a couple of friends who I knew from school and they were glad to hear from me which is awesome. One of them said they were really glad I have Facebook. Thats another reason why I cant delete Facebook.

Im like Alex Day when he goes and slangs off at Facebook for being horrible with the tagging pictures and videos that annoys a lot when online friends do it nearly all the time. But Facebook has some great qualities having quizzes, embedding videos and setting challenges and groups. When getting invited into groups can be a pain but I just ignore them thinking they will stop after a while.

SO FACEBOOK TO ME IS HERE TO STAY.

Now I think I uploaded it at the wrong time after the maintenance. I dont know the sub box on the front page is broken for a while then it gets all the videos missed in the last few hours after like 12 hours. So when there is a maintenance on Youtube I may upload any future video a few hours after the maintenance has been done. But I dont mind now It will eventually get to people.

The next video will be Face 2 Face and I can not reveal who it is. Hopefully I will put it up by the weekend. Only person I contacted knows they are next.

OK I got some editing to do tomorrow for the Adur Talking News and The Podcast Episode Three tomorrow.

Bullet Point Entry of Thoughts and Happenings

OK I am not here to do a proper blog today but it will be in Bullet Points

- Met up with my mate Arron on Friday and Saturday down my way

- While in Brighton on Friday Arron and I saw Chris Eubank (British Boxer) which didnt know until someone shouted "CHRIS CHRIS". I think Musicfromblueskies thought I was lying when I mentioned it on Facebook. Edit at 11:30pm GMT - Musicfromblueskies believes me in the end. Sorry mate and it was a misunderstanding.

- We saw something strange with Pigeons looked like they were humping each other down at the Marina on Friday.

- Got back to my place to record the third podcast episode of mine which wont be up until Wednesday the earilest.

- Watched Knocked Up on Blu-Ray and I fell alsleep half way through to the end LOL.

- Saturday just chilled in Brighton with Arron got extra change from Subway when I bought a 6" Sub

- Back Home and chatted to friends online for a little bit.

- Chatted to GeorgieBoom asked if I was going to go to a gathering soon and sadly I cant because of Money Issues

- Going to stop using Twitter and Dailybooth for a bit unless it is something really important. I will not delete them like Nerimon but I can understand why he did it. It would be impossible to me to delete Facebook because I have Real Life Friends who would want to know what I am doing and so I am keeping that for life.

- Barry Aldridge Asks is coming back this week. Dont Worry I will only embed my videos on this blog and Facebook from now on. The reason I did embed them on Twitter in the past was on sub box issues that still go on Youtube now but I dont mind now on if people have seen or havent seen it.

- Not happy with Youtube that they got rid of Spotlight Videos on their site unless it is for themed days which is very strange.

- Finally I feel the creative juices coming back HOORAY.

Things going sweet, Youtube and 2 Truths & 1 Lie (Answer) Video

THINGS GOING SWEET

Life is going well at the moment that I had my meeting with 4sight (West Sussex Association for the blind) yesterday, the person's name was Pat and he was a great guy who was brilliantly helpful. He told me at first that he couldn't help at all which sucked but he did tell me that there is a local team who do a Talk show on CDs for the blind every week. I was invited to see them and they told me what they do every week and found it very good. I was helping out with the show to think what could be cut out of the show. Good news was that they didn't have to take too much. They did repeat an article from the previous week which I saw as a good thing that it gave the show less time. The idea was suggested to add music in the middle and at the end of the show.

The programme they used to edit the shows is Adobe Audition 1.5 and it looked similar to the other audio editing software I used in the past.

When the job was done with the editing it had to be recorded onto a CD using Nero Express which I regard as excellent software for copying material.

Next thing was to print out some new labels for their listeners who hadn't returned their packages every week.

After the Master CD was copied it was taken into the room where they record the shows and they copy Master CD onto 70 discs where they record them onto 6 discs at once which is awesome. I hope it is a way that they produce music albums to fans.

Once they finished copying all the CDs we were able to put them into packages so then they are send out to listeners. All it took was a couple of hours which was awesome and I don't mind going back there.

I know they do recordings every Tuesday evenings from Half 6 to half 8 or 9 o'clock. So I will be attending a recording to see how they do it. It may give me some ideas what bits could be edited out to help the others when they are editing whether it is.

I think this is a great opportunity for me and hope it builds up my skills for the future.

OK onto the next topic Youtube. There has been a lot of talk about whats going on with it going to turn like Hulu.com with its layout showing Movies, Music and Videos in the tabs.

I went on there this morning and found nothing to that. But Youtube have decided to put into a super secret which you can find here Youtube Beta Information Channel Now with all the negativity with whats going to happen. So far it has been done is really good, I know people will disagree with me on this but I like the new Beta channel set-up within Youtube. You can edit it on the spot within the profile page. Makes it so much easy.

I will admit hearing about that Youtube could be going through changes over the last couple of weeks, that I wasn't focused on that. I felt I had some problems within my real life which is more important to me at the moment

So far the changes I have seen on Youtube AT THE MOMENT are good but who knows what could happen later in the day. I will re-edited if something does.

The Good Friday Blog Entry - Youtube Stuff (Promoted/Featured) and Eminem Excitement

Hey Guys

I havent done a normal blog entry talking about my life in a while, so I thought today I would do one for you.

Right I have been looking for work for the last couple of weeks. Sometimes I am in the mood for looking and other times because of the recession I think that there is no way I can find something. I got an interview with to help out with Foresight which should be awesome. I rather have something to do than sitting on my butt at home. I know that Youtube is just a hobby and I can enjoy whats going on while it lasts.

I was talking to TEMPHUiBIS last Saturday when I met him in his hometown of Stratford. One of the things we discussed about the state of Youtube which was included in this video. Pardon my voice in the video I had a cold in it. Its around the 10 minute mark that we discuss it.



For anyone who wants the short version. Temp and Myself agreed that Youtube could be coming to an end soon and we are both there to enjoy ourselves in different ways. Temp enjoys doing his music and doing game/film vlogs. While I enjoy what I do in sense of vlogs and maybe doing reviews in the future.

Speaking about Youtube. For some reason they decided to promote/feature four of my videos which came as a surprise on Tuesday when I was watching some of the VEDA entries as I looked down in the featured videos bit it had one of my Playstation Review videos and I was thinking WHAT?

Later on that day I did find out that Youtube (UK) were promoting four of my videos. Both parts of my Playstation 3 Review, Face 2 Face with TEMPHUiBIS and my last video 2 Truths & 1 Lie. This has shocked me where I am getting more comments for the Playstation videos which I am surprised that Youtube promoted these as I think they are rubbish videos.

Im pleased they are promoting/featured my latest video but to promote four videos is a surprise. Getting promoted/featured does help you in view counts which is a surprise.

Anyway moving on from Youtube stuff.

I deleted my last post on Eminem's new video "We Made You" because it got deleted oh well. I knew it was going to come. Anyway when I do the answers to 2 Truth & 1 Lie I may talk about in my next video about Eminem.

The tune is so catchy.

I cant wait until the 18th of May now with the Inbetweeners Box Set and Eminem's new album being released on the same day.

Illness is a Drag, The Inbetweeners and Angry Video Game Nerd

OK I have been Ill for last few days and its a real drag. One of the things I hate about being ill is that you don't know how long you are going to be ill. I remember an illness when I was College 8 years ago when I was Ill for 2 weeks before that I thought everyone would only get ill for up to a week.

Good thing is that my virus is getting better, I thought it would be a winter thing but oh well you learn something new every day.

During the time when I had been ill My Mum suggested to me to watch the Inbetweeners which I has never heard of. It started the series 2 the day before and she thought it maybe worth me checking out.

Inbetweeners is a group of friends in the 6th Form who aren't cool enough to be popular and not geeky enough to be nerds. The series is set in West London.

I have to say this is best sitcom I have seen in a long time since Only Fools & Horses.

I love this programme that I mentioned it quite a bit on Twitter and Facebook and a lot of people agreed with me. I saw the first series soon after I saw the first episode of series 2. I am defintely buying the box set once it comes after the second series has finished on E4.

There is a rumour that they are thinking of doing a US Version "Iain Morris and Damon Beesley have been asked by American Broadcasting Corporation to produce a pilot for a U.S. version of the series. They will be head writers for the project. The network has given Morris and Beesley a second blind script commitment for a future project the two will create. Both projects will be made at ABC Studios."

OK the final thing I have enjoyed lately is a Computer Game Review Series Called ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD, I will say this programme does contain a lot of swearing and other stuff that could make you sick.

It is an Internet success that I have been watching a few episodes lately made in 2007 and 2008. These are some of my favourite episodes from the show. Remember these shows do contain quite a bit of swearing and stuff to make you sick.

World Autism Awareness Day (2nd April)

Hey guys

Today is really important to not only me but to a lot of people as well.

It is the 2nd of April and it is World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD). It was decided in 2007 by United Nations General Assembly that this would be set up. The very first one took place last year. By bringing together autism organisations all around the world, World Autism Awareness Day aims to give a voice to the millions of individuals worldwide who are undiagnosed, misunderstood and looking for help.

Ok I am here to share my story

When I was three years old I was taken into my local doctor and the doctor had said I was diagnosed with Autism and I had to go to a special school that dealt with Autistic kids. The school I was taken to is no longer there and its called Griffin Manor. I remember having a great time while I didn’t know what were rights and wrongs in the world. I wasn’t sad or happy. I didn’t what to feel. Its sometimes really hard to find the right emotion. Griffin Manor looked after me really well by the time I was 9 years old it was found out that my autism wasn’t as bad as a lot of children who have it. I was transferred to a regular school full time by the age of 10. I still have touches of Autism now which make me hard to understand certain things like sarcasm and when someone is telling a joke but I get by.

So that’s my story.

So Today I am standing up for Autism.

What is Autism? (Taken from Wikipedia)

Autism is a brain development disorder characterized by impaired social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior. These signs all begin before a child is three years old. The autism spectrum disorders (ASD) also include related conditions such as Asperger syndrome that have milder signs and symptoms.
Autism has a strong genetic basis, although the genetics of autism are complex and it is unclear whether ASD is explained more by multigene interactions or by rare mutations In rare cases, autism is strongly associated with agents that cause birth defects. Other proposed causes, such as childhood vaccines, are controversial, and the vaccine hypotheses lack any convincing scientific evidence. The prevalence of ASD is about 6 per 1,000 people, with about four times as many boys as girls. The number of people known to have autism has increased dramatically since the 1980s, partly due to changes in diagnostic practice; the question of whether actual prevalence has increased is unresolved.

NSG - 12th Hour (EP) (Review)

Hey everyone

I thought I would do a review of a project that NSG did in 12 hours. This type of music project is original and would be a good challenge to see if NSG could do it.

So NSG the day before announced on his Youtube channel that he was going to do an album in 12 hours and I was excited to see this. He asked whether we want to see him on BlogTV or Stickam to do the album. So we were able to see NSG work on the album and we could have a good chat to give ideas.

Now onto the album itself. Originally I think NSG wanted to do a full album but by the third hour when I joined the chat for the first time, I think NSG realised it was more likely to be an EP online release.

So here is the final tracklisting that came with the album

OK Lets get cracking

Searchin - It has a really smooth RNB feel to the start of the album while using NSGs touch that would be recognised by his audience. NSG comes out really smooth on this track. Miz Kaz's singing style really suits the track. ChosenLogic a guest MC in this track and the next one, he did a great job. (4/5)

Get Up - This is a track that gets into your face. Edd's soft vocals on this track really meshes well on this. NSG and ChosenLogic come real hard on this track. I thought ChosenLogic came out stronger on this track. The aggressive is there and I can understand what they are saying. (4.5/5)

Taking Over Me - This track was written by NSG and fellow Youtube EddPlant. This track has an Indie feel to it that EddPlant could have been on the track as well. I really like the hook on this one. It is addictive

Higher Place - This is my favourite track on the EP. OrtoPilot does an excellent job with the guitar and vocals which made this track outstanding. NSG comes out with solid soft touch verses which help the track. Miz Kaz's voice is so smooth in this track makes me feel like I am in heaven. This track I hope goes onto an album one day. (5/5)

Madness of the 12th Hour - This is a good mix of Instrumentals from NSG, Hexachordal and TEMPHUiBIS. With NSG doing vocals on this. It reminded me of ticking clocks for some reason. I liked the mixture of Hexachordal and TEMPHUiBIS. Very nice track to close the album. (4/5)

Overall the EP gets a 4.5 out of 5. For the amount of time it took to make it is incredible which it gets 5 stars for that. NSG must have been under pressure to do this and I give him a load of credit.

He did mention that he may do one a month which I hope it happens, but I can understand if it turns out to be too much pressure for him.

OK I got a new video out and its called 2 Truths & 1 Lie which has spread around Youtube for a couple of months but has died down in last couple of weeks.

Lucky though I decide to do one and I filmed this last Sunday just in case I was going to be busy for this week.

I love Spring & Runner Up In Little Rich's Lottery On Youtube

Spring is brillant, its my 2nd favourite season right behind Winter just. Spring has an openness to me that brings warmth to peoples hearts.

I love Spring that it has fresh air to the world, I love it so. I went out with my Dad and Ruby down to the beach and it was really fun.

I wish Spring could last forever its always better than Summer.

On another note I was checking in my Youtube Subscriptions and I found out that I was a Runner Up in Little Rich's Big Lottery which is really cool. I won a slot on his channel and $15 Amazon Voucher which is really great.

Barry Aldridge Face 2 Face With TEMPHUiBIS

This is the latest interview in the Face 2 Face series.

I interviewed TEMPHUiBIS who have met a couple of times and hes a really cool guy. Now as soon as the NSG interview was done. TEMPHUiBIS asked if he could do an interview with me and I said I was thinking about interviewing him which was great.

Now TEMPHUiBIS suggested to do his end outside which I thought was a really good idea and I think it is. The walking away part at the end was also TEMPHUiBIS and fitted the interview perfectly.

Now the questions were done from my bedroom where I usually do vlogs and I normally do them in my Study but I thought of different scenery but I will probably not do that again.

So future Face 2 Face videos I will do the question stuff in the Study rather than my Bedroom.

I think this is a brillant interview, I dont know who I will interview next so you will have to wait and see.

Oh yeah just on a note I will be doing ten interviews per series/season as I think it is a lot better.

The final one in the series I will not reveal who it is until the video is finally up like the others.

I went to Peterborough yesterday and thought that was amazing.

Arron is always fun to be around. Great guy.

Now I went up to Bowling in Peterborough and I thought it was going to be fun and full of laughs which it was.

My Bowling skills were top notch and I thought I was going to be shit but I destroyed everyone in it. I dont know when it comes to Bowling I am on a competition level, strange how that works.

Watchmen was Brillant & Face 2 Face Enquiry

I watched the Watchmen yesterday at the Odeon in Brighton. It was the best film I have seen in a long time. The storyline was brillant it had so many plots but it was so well done from the beginning to the end.

I like Rorschach character because he is a guy who is trying to do the right thing while he was a bit of rebel doing his own thing. He wanted the Watchmen to get back together again because the Comedian (Played By Jeffrey Dean Morgan) was murdered at the beginning of the film and felt the watchmen were under threat. I aslo like all out realness that this sort of thing could happen to the world.

To me the ending which I will not reveal has a very good reason while some of you look on it as evil which I found in a way but I can understand the motivation for why it was done.

I heard about the Watchmen first from a Youtube User called Blunty3000 who I dont watch anymore and looked to be a real promising film to the consumer which I think it is excellent.

This is totally different to other superhero films which makes it good that they are neutral meaning they do good things but at the same time some of their actions can be thought of as bad which we as human beings realised that there is no such thing as True good or True evil.

I think there needs to be more of that in films where there can be something new that opens up our minds to how film/cinema/comic can be done. Im sick and tired of the same old stuff in films.

I think a moral should be told in films but I feel it should be done in an original way.

FACE 2 FACE ENQUIRY

OK Guys I see that Face 2 Face is becoming a success which has taken over from the old Channel recommendations which is really cool. I am surprise though to be honest. Hey guys

how is it going everyone?

Im doing great at the moment which is great, Im hoping to see my mate Arron tomorrow which is always fun. Dont know what we are doing hopefully it will be something fun maybe going to see the Watchmen film which should be awesome. I heard a lot of praise for the film which is great to go in for but I will be open minded for the film.

Now the idea for the phone call interview came from NSG and doing it live together which was crazy to me at first but I thought after a little bit this could totally be the best idea for an interview ever. This turned out to be brillant. I was quite surprised how the chemistry worked in this interview. The question about Miz Kaz turned to be funny and my reaction to him was real and it made the interview even better.

It was a challenge to edit and the quality of NSGs footage when he send it to me was outstanding and brillant, totally outshone my footage completely and it looks good in High Quality.

Thank You NSG again for doing the Interview again.

Oh yeah the next guest has already contacted me to do a Face 2 Face which is awesome but wont be for another week at least, got to think of the questions now.

P0YKPAC a brilliant Brooklyn comedy act have come out with a brilliant sketch called "FAIL ALE"



I love this much it is totally brilliant. I hope it does get recognised on Youtube if not a Global feature on the front page but a feature in their comedy section it is really funny. Totally taking the mick but really well done. I love P0YKPAC so much.

LittleMissKit (One Year On)

Hey Guys

I thought I better do a blog entry bit of a serious one.

LITTLEMISSKIT (ONE YEAR ON)

OK It was one year ago today that I heard the news of LittleMissKit aka Anne that she passed away. I know people who read this may not know who she was so I will briefly explain who she was.

LittleMissKit I knew her best as Anne who was a big supporter to the causes like Youstage, when a few youtubers went to Bristol to win Upstaged competition. She was from Leeds and she was so full of life to anyone she met. She was also there when you went on Stickam to chat to some other youtubers which was awesome. She had some great helpful advice when you felt down and out.

I remember the first time when I applied for the Youtube Partner Program, she was one of the first to say sorry that I had been turned down for the partner. I took it in good humour and she knew. She thought I should be part of the Legend program which was great to hear and I knew she was playing.

She always left comments like Meow or any other comment to say she has seen the video which is really comment, some people would have thought of it as spam, but I knew it was her way of saying hello. She was brillant.

Now I was able to meet Anne on the 16th of February for Mhazz's 18th birthday thing, I cant remember and the first thing she said "You Better Keep It" around that time I was debating whether to ditch or keep my Real Name No Gimmicks catchphrase. I decided to keep it in the end but I never got to tell her that. Anyway when we chatted at London Victoria we talked about gatherings that we went to.

She mentioned about the Nerdfighter gathering that was organised by Maureen and Charlie in the previous month of last year. She told me that Charlie recieved my message that I couldnt come to his gathering because of Transport problems and told her how the Christmas gathering I did back in 2007 did which was really cool. Its nice to have a chat.

Anyway we spent the day with others around London and then around early afternoon she had to leave to go back to Leeds and we said goodbye to her with hugs and weaving.

Now on this date last year I had heard rumours from people that LittleMissKit had passed away. I was leaving it until it got mentioned in either a Stickam chat room Im in or in a Youtube video.

It got confirmed by Daveyboyz who did this tribute



Now I was in shock when I heard about the news. I was doing the old channel recommendations when I was going to do 2 in one day to catch up the series but when I watched Daveys I decided to put it on hold and do a tribute myself which I have privated now. Later on Jessica aka xbrokenmindedx also did a tribute which was very touching.



I know I feel sad that she aint with us anymore but I think she is in a better place where this world is so tough on people and everything around it.

I remember before Anne's funeral Jessica (xbrokenmindedx) asked me for a message to be put in a card which I did and I cant remember what I put in it but I remember Jessica being touched by this because she send me a <3.

I saw the other month that people did a tribute videos to the Boringdispatcher who passed away also in 2008 which was very nice. So they did a one year anniversary for his memory. I heard he was a really cool guy from a lot of people

I thought I'll do a blog entry to explain how I feel about a year on with Anne's passing. She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was very kind and thoughtful to others. She made me laugh as well. Like I said I know she is in a better place smiling.

I miss you Anne (RIP)

Resident Evil 5 (First Impressions) and Copyright Issues

I feel in a very mixed mood today which I will explain why I am in a good mood. Earlier this morning I got RESIDENT EVIL 5 through the post.

I was so surprised and shock that I got one of possible game of the year titles a day early which is BLOODY BRILLANT. I could not believe that I got it.

Killing time Part 2
Going up some steps it looks like.

This game is so amazing, The look of the game is stunning. The graphics are top notch when I was watching the Bonus DVD that you get with the Limited edition they really went all out on this title. It shows they did the Full motion capture.

I will admit does not have a patch of The First Resident Evil when it comes to a scary environment, I remember playing the original on the Playstation. When you were playing the same character Chris Redfield and this time you are teamed up with woman called Sheva Alomar who helps you out in this game. Now the real catch is that you have to try to keep yourself alive and your partner alive. Even if your partner dies then it is Game Over which makes the game more of a challenge which I find excellent. Now can not run and shoot at the same time as the other games which a lot of gamers got turned off by.

But this is a first impressions so will wait and see how it goes after a few days

COPYRIGHT ISSUES

Now I was watching a BillTVMacon video earlier and it was called "Why I May Be Leaving YouTube"



One of the things that I really like about Bill is that he explains his situations without using forced language or being abusive towards his viewers. He explained that one of videos had some copyright issue. In the video he say that if he leaves Youtube then thats the reason why.

Now I was talking to Bill before he put the video asking me about this copyright deal and I tried to explain it to him the best way I can because it is very hard to explain Youtube's copyright and very confusing.

Its sad shame. Bill isnt the only one to face this, there are others who are facing the same situation, people I know and regularly watch their videos.

Plus this is added on the fact that the other day that the UK Youtube users can not watch music videos.

Now this whole situation does make me worry but I know I will overcome this when hopefully I will put out a video either the weekend or on Monday. Im hoping not to go that road.

Short Notes (Its got nothing to do with me, Laptop Fun, Two Pints Of Lager, Superman and Brillant Cover Song)

OK before I begin talking about my new laptop which I am proud. I would like to say anyone who tells me what to do with Caps Lock and swearing like saying someone telling me remember this for the rest of your life like for example “**** Scott Mills” I am more likely to ignore that if it involves a curse word and caps lock because I see it as plain rude. Plus anyone else telling to do something with Caps and/or swearing I will also ignore because I think that is rude too. If you don’t like what I say in my blog you don’t have to say anything at all, just leave it be and move on.

Anyway speaking on this, Scott Mills has done nothing wrong to me, so don’t drag anything down my way unless Mr Mills has done something wrong to me ok. So I don’t care if you have a problem with someone unless we have the same problem. I will just say to you That’s your situation not mine ok.

That is the end of subject for good.

Right onto the fun side of my blog I am going to talk about my new laptop. Got it on Thursday after the nightmare visit to the dentist when I was told I will have to have two teeth pulled out including one of wisdom teeth. Right back to the laptop, I have been using so much lately which is really good. I was excited to use it. It was a pain to load up every program before I can use it but to fair it is my first laptop. I installed a couple of old games which were Sam & Max Season 1 and Command & Conquer 3 which worked so much better with my laptop.

I may install Music software to do some music in my free time. Should be something fun in my spare time. Hooray.

I watched a bad episode of Two Pints of Lager which was for Comic Relief and I normally like the show. It featured the cast of two really bad sitcoms (Grownups and Coming Of Age). It was a special for Comic Relief which I couldn’t be mad at completely. I did enjoy Two Pints: Fags, Lads and Kebabs documentary that looked back at the series after 8 series which is really awesome.

Red Nose Day 09 Video (Knock Knock Jokes)

It is my Red Nose Day video which I tell Knock Knock Jokes. Now finding good Knock Knock jokes wasnt really easy at all. I found most of them very stale and dont have an impact to make you laugh. Now the video will stop being an autoplay after the 13th of March.

Originally I found 14 Knock Knock Jokes that included my original one of Ruby and Guitar Hero III. Getting down to 5 was really hard to do. Lucky though after looking at couple of them I believe after telling them twice they would run stale to me. So I was able to come down to 5.

Now I did the serious messages and the opening of the video yesterday thinking I would do that easily and the Knock Knock thing would take time a long time.

Now I thought I would be able to do the video on Sunday because originally I was seeing some family but I was free to do it today thinking it would take hours but instead it took only a few minutes.

The Guitar Hero bit was very lucky to be honest. Ruby dancing at the door was pure luck. It was amazing. Everything was clicking. Im really happy that I got to do a Red Nose Day.

Sadly for people interested I didnt beat my high score on the song but hey I got the Comic Relief video done.

Red Nose Day 09 (Part 2)

Hey Guys

Heres another post for Red Nose Day. I have filmed half of my video today which is explaining why I am supporting Comic Relief. I will be filming the other half tomorrow. Hopefully it will be up on Youtube by tomorrow night if not Sunday. Originally I was going to do the response to Littleradge but I thought I would response to the Comic Relief video that Scott Mills did.

Face 2 Face Is Continiung, New Laptop and Red Nose Day Video coming

Hey guys

Hows it going?

Right since my first Face 2 Face I have reached the decision to continue it because I had a lot of fun doing the one with BillTVMacon. Now this will not be the next video as I will explain in the final part.

I have send the questions to the next person, who I will not reveal at all even if you ask me on MSN. I think the second one is going to be a good one. I do think Face 2 Face has real potential while doing normal videos including Barry Aldridge Asks will make a return one day.

OK The second part I had mentioned this on my Twitter that I am getting a Laptop at last HOORAY. Its a Toshiba PC Laptop (I Know the Mac Fanboys/girls will be booing at me for that lol)



Now I found it on John Lewis because they make brillant guarantees on their site where I can 2 years.

Im really excited, the reason Im getting one is that my desktop is running slower and takes 10 minutes to get onto the net which has me fed up, so I will still use it just for games in the future.

I will use the Laptop for video editing and Internet.

I cant wait.

OK my next video will be over the weekend will be a bit of a funny one mixed with a serious message. Now I wont reveal what I am doing for the video but the principle of the video is to promote Red Nose Day thats happening next Friday on the 13th of March.



I always wanted to do one like so many others in the UK do a video to help out Comic Relief.

Thestallion86 has done a video to explain what Comic Relief is about and really good explanations, so please watch this.



Now three youtubers I know (Randomprodinc, MusicfromBlueskies and LittleRadge) have come up with a brillant idea to set up a Youtube Community fund-raising for Comic Relief where you have to do a video responding to them either doing a Film/Sketch, Music Video or A Comedy/Serious Vlog.

Here is RandomProdInc's video doing a Sketch of a Treasure Hunt which I found really funny and brillant sketch. It brought the whole Randomprodinc team back together which is awesome.



Here is LittleRadge's video doing a Comedy situation with not posting videos and the giving a serious message about what they are doing for Comic Relief.



Musicfromblueskies did a song called the Comic Relief song



I do believe that UK Youtube should promote these videos to help out because they are doing it for a brillant cause and they are doing what Comic Relief has asked "Do Something Funny For Money"

I will be responding to LittleRadge's one because I am a Vlogger, The video will be up hopefully over the weekend.

Please Help out them it is an awesome idea.

The Next Blog entry will include my video for Red Nose Day which will be responded to LittleRadge's one like I said.

Jacobdyermedia is also doing something for Comic Relief where he asked whether he do Waxing or Dancing for the day.
